KA204 STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS FOR ADULT EDUCATION

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

The Erasmus “Protect Yourself” project aims to create a series of tools and resources to support adult education and to contribute to the development and expansion of their professional and educational know-how in the circular economy.

Given this GENERAL OBJECTIVE, we have identified 3 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES that the project will reach at its end:

1st SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE: Increase the involvement of adults from partners’ countries to identify, analyze and evaluate the actions to be taken in favor of the climate;

2nd SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE: Improve the level of key competences of adult educators in formal and non-formal education to adequately contribute to the adults critical skills development;

3rd SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE: Enhance the capacity of adult organizations to help adults take action in favor of the climate and to fight climate change.

PARTNERS

Petit Pas (IT) is an association aiming at the development of education, training, and entrepreneurship. Their goal is to enhance the level of knowledge and skills of their associates regardless of gender, social background, cultural or educational background.

ASOCIACION CULTURAL Y DEPORTIVA LAHOYA (ES) is already involved in counseling people. They have access to coaching materials and to a large pool of potential trainers with significant experience in the adults sectors.

KREATEM EGYESULET (HU) has experience non-formal teaching activities (Workshops-Discussio groups) online collaborative education methodologies and web-based applications.KREATEAM has experience cultural activities and has experts in Information and Communication Technology applied to Education.

Graphistes de l’Ombre (FR)

It is an open participatory network of training, communication and design professionals.

Their commitment to environmental issues will ensure the opportunity to implement a strategy of intervention to respond to adults needs in relation to acting in favor of the climate.ACTA (RO)ACTA promotes the educational activities, professional and social skills development of young people and adults in order to be able to adapt and to integrate effectively in a dynamic society. Their organisation aims to contribute to the economic and civic growth of individuals

RESULTS

Result 1. Good Practice Guide.

This outcome will support educators working with adults and adult organisations to improve the analytical and critical thinking skills of adults interested in climate action. The guide will thus contribute to the achievement of the 1st SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE: Increase the involvement of adults in partner countries to identify, analyse and evaluate climate actions.

Results 2. Methods and techniques to support climate action.

This outcome will support educators working with adults who need tools and methods to address adult needs. The toolkit will contribute to the achievement of the 2nd SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE: To improve the level of key competences of adult educators in formal and non-formal education in order to contribute adequately to the development of critical competences.

Result 3. Cooperation mechanism.

This result consists of a European virtual space (Facebook group) to support organisations working with adults to achieve the 3rd SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE, i.e. to improve internal capacities to enable adults to actively act for the climate.
