13 Nov GUADALOUPE DAY 1 (11/11)
A group from ACD LA HOYA (Joan, Ivan, Ferran, Lidia, Laura y Jose) are taking part in a youth exchange “TANGIBLE CLOUD” in Guadalupe.
This is what we did in the first day.
GUADALOUPE DAY 1 (11/11)
Today, on our first day, we played several name games to break the ice and get to know each other better. For example, we played the name and movement circle game, where you have to say your name and choose a movement that represents you. We also played musical leader, where one person leaves the room and a volunteer is chosen to lead the dance. When that person returns to the room, they have to try to find the leader among the whole group. After this activity, we played a speed dating-style question game to get to know the rest of the group better and thus improve cohesion and teamwork. We formed teams for the week’s tasks and in these groups we did a gymkhana, completing tests while discovering the island, which was very beautiful and fascinating. After this, we ate a varied assortment of buffet-style dishes, which were all very good and we really enjoyed them. After the midday break, which we used to improve our presentation on the topic of AI and how it affects the environment in Spain, all the groups gave their presentations
and we learned a little about the local wildlife. To end the day, after dinner, the German organisation presented their culture at the Intercultural Night, and the leaders met to evaluate the day with our leader, to whom we also gave our feedback on the day. Tomorrow we will leave at 5 a.m. together to watch the sunrise on the beach. We can’t wait!
The project is co-funded by the Erasmus + program.
